The internet as we know it is cluttered. Feeds are flooded with mediocre content, rendering the golden nuggets few and far between. There is no doubt valuable information out there, but we struggle to surface it.
AI is an incredible tool but it will lead right back to many of today's pain points. Human powered curation is optimal. What human curation loses in efficiency and scale, it gains in intention, intimacy, and novelty.
What is Sift?
Sift is a curation-first social media app. If Pinterest does aestethic curation, Sift does thought curation.
How does Sift work?
You will continue to explore the depths of the internet. When you come across gold, share it to Sift. You can browse Sift for curated content from your most trusted peers.
Why are you building this?
Because we noticed two things: 1. The internet is overflowing with noise. 2. We often ask our most trusted peers what they've been reading on the internet.
Does anyone use Sift?
Well, we do. And Alex Leiberman does.
